Students Digital Photos

These are the photos that Jo, Maria and Xain took today for their digital camera and photo editing class :-)

Using a Basic Photo Editing Program - Photo Manager

Original Canon ImageEdited Canon ImageCanon: Colour with Hue and Saturation Changes
We started off with Maria's original photo of the canon plant which she took in the Ultimo TAFE's snack bar area.
What we did then was use Microsoft Photo Manager to crop the image and then clicked the Auto Correct button to enhance the image.
In the next image what we did there was to take the second image and we choose the color tool by clicking on the button. We decreased the Amount slide, increased the Hue slide and increased the Saturation slide. and hey pronto we have two new images.

What I wanted to do was to enhance the leaf of the canon so you could get an appreciation of the wonderful colours of the canons. Enjoy :-)

Using the Optical Zoom

bright orange clivias
I like the orange texture of the clivias. I zoomed in with the optical zoom to get a real close up of the flower to show you the beautiful orange flame colour.

Shades of Green

bright green tree leaves I took this photo beacause I like the green shade of it. I used the camera's optical zoom to go in close to the leaves which were about 5 feet above me.

Using a digital camera

I found it easier than I thought to use the digital camera, I recommend it to anyone.

Learning How to Use the Digital Camera

Today the class took photos with a Kodak 5.1mp Easy Share camera. This is a user friendly camera and it takes great photos and is real easy for a novice photographer to use.
In this image here the girls are getting a much earned coffee before returning to class for editing and uploading to the net.
